Growing up in Colorado I was lucky to be around a thriving performing arts scene with the Denver Center For The Performing Arts a short drive away and The Arvada Center For The Performing Arts literally in my back yard. Watching live shows as a kid fascinated me and I always loved a good story though it wasn't until high school that I got into theatre myself. Thats where I discovered the tech side of theatre and how the more crucial elements of a production are never even seen by the audience. I loved every part of being back stage from designing sets and costumes to working lights and being a member of run crew. I couldn't pinpoint which part of tech theatre interested me the most, so I decided to pursue stage management as a way to take part in every aspect of a show from start to finish.

Currently I'm working on earning my Bachelors of Fine Arts for Design, Technology, and Management at the University of Colorado at Boulder, and I couldn't be happier with my decision to take a career in theatre seriously. My focus is mainly on stage management however I've opted to continue learning about the design element of production through classes offered within my degree path including costume design and lighting design. During my time here I've also discovered directing and hope to pursue this as a possible masters degree sometime in the future. I love creating theatre on stage, and I love telling stories just as much. One day I want to earn my PhD and use everything I've learned both in school and in life to teach the next generation of creators the joys and impact of theatre.
